Must belong to a Below Poverty Line (BPL) family
Residency
Must be a permanent resident of Bihar
Existing Ration Card
The applicant should not already possess a ration card from another state
Government Employment
Applicant must not be employed in any government job
Taxpayer Status
Applicant must not be an income tax payer
Vehicle Ownership
Should not own a 3-wheeler or 4-wheeler vehicle
Household Appliances
Should not own high-end appliances like a washing machine or refrigerator
Housing Condition
Should not own a pucca house with more than 3 rooms
